Glue Factory

‘Glue Factory’ is based on the ZVEX Fuzz Factory. It’s essentially a Fuzz Face coupled with a boost circuit, but with many of the internal components replaced by external knobs. This allows complete control over the transistor bias, letting you create everything from a really thick, musical fuzz, to gated velcro-ripping, to some pretty crazy pitch-oscillation.

This is not a user-friendly pedal by any means. The knobs are very interactive, and there are a lot of setting combinations that just don’t sound great. But if you like experimenting or are looking for something unique, ‘Glue Factory’ is definitely worth a look.

Pedal controls:
Level – Controls overall volume of effect
Gate – Turns off the transistor when the signal is below a given threshold
Fuzz – Controls the amount of gain from transistors
Bias – Reduces current to change the bias of the whole circuit
Comp – Compression changes the attack and is heavily affected by the Bias control
Body – Controls the amount of bass
Tone – Controls the amount of treble
Soft – Reduces the gain of the boost stage, rounding out the fuzz a bit
