About Me

I’ve been playing guitar for about 25 years. Until recently, I was strictly an acoustic player. It wasn’t until the pandemic and subsequent lockdown that I decided to try my hand at electric guitar. I bought an old G&L Asat and a cheap modeling amp and started putting them through their paces.

And… wow. That first time playing through a cranked amp was unreal. All the saturation and sag and compression had me feeling like a teenager again. It was familiar, but it was brand new – and I was hooked. I soon upgraded to a decent tube amp and began collecting pedals, chasing tone and looking for ‘my sound.’

In my searching, I developed an interest in the inner workings of pedal circuitry and decided to start making my own. Pedal building is exciting. It allows me to combine my passion for music, my background in graphic design, and my love for hand crafting. And hopefully I can help someone else searching for ‘their sound’ – or at least pass along that excitement of finding something new.

Cheers!
